About Yan Zhao

My Client-First Philosophy

My philosophy is always putting my clients interests first.  I want to provide my clients with the best possible services with my empathic communication, diligent research, sound advice and tireless work ethics.  I do not believe in giving my clients any pressure.  I encourage my clients to take their time when they need it to reach their decision.  I support my clients' home buying experience with my vast network of allied resource, such as property management for investor homes, creative mortgage brokers, home inspectors, even cleaning crew and moving companies.

My clients have been very happy with my services, which is evident in the Testimonial section of this web site.  Right now over 80% of my business is from mouth-to-mouth referral.  There is nothing more satisfying to hear my past clients passing along their positive experience with us to their friends and families.  Because of these mouth-to-mouth referrals, for the past 18 months, I have sold real estate worth over 10 millions US dollars without spending a penny on marketing. Considering the current market condition in San Diego, this is no small feat.

My clientele consists of home buyers/sellers, real estate investors and relocators.  Among them, there are clients from  neighboring states such as Arizona, or the states on the other end of the continent, such as Massachusette.  I even have oversea clients from Alberta, Canada and Shanghai, China.  I enjoy working with them all.

I believe in continued education and self-improvment.  Besides my real estate license, I am a certified E-ProABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) and most importantly, the prestigious CRS (Certified Residential Specialist).  The CRS designation is considered the highest level of achievement for Realtors.  There are only 35000 CRS among the 1,000,000 strong Realtors.  In addition, I am currently half way through my certifications of GRI (Graduate REALTOR Institute).  My continued education equips me with the skills and tools that can help my clients navigate today's real estate market.

Before coming to the United States, I had worked in China, first as TV economy news anchor, and later TV producer.  Therefore, I am fluent in Mandarin.
